Proper care is essential to maintaining the softness, texture, and longevity of your Bare By TB extensions.
Washing
Wash your extensions every 1–2 weeks or whenever product buildup occurs. Use lukewarm water with a moisturizing, sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner.
Gently wash the hair in a downward motion. Do not rub, twist, or bunch the extensions together, as this may cause tangling.

Detangling & Strengthening
Divide the hair into sections and gently detangle from the ends upward using a wide-tooth comb or detangling brush.
Always support the hair near the wefts while brushing to avoid unnecessary pulling and shedding. Curly textures should be detangled while damp and conditioned.
For added softness and protection, lightly apply Matrix Food For Soft Multi Use Hair Oil Serum before detangling or styling.
Drying
Air-drying is recommended to help preserve the hair’s natural texture. Gently squeeze out excess water with a microfiber towel—never rub the hair.
Curly & Wavy Hair
To refresh curls and waves, lightly mist the hair with water and apply a lightweight leave-in conditioner. Add a small amount of curl cream, then scrunch the hair upward to restore and define its natural pattern.
For additional definition and hold, apply a small amount of styling gel throughout the hair. Avoid using too much product, as heavy buildup can weigh the texture down.
Allow the hair to air-dry or use a diffuser on a low heat and low airflow setting. Gently cup the curls with the diffuser and lift them toward the roots without disturbing the curl pattern.

Heat Styling
Always apply heat protectant before using hot tools. Use the lowest effective temperature and avoid applying heat daily.
Although Raw Indian and Raw Vietnamese hair can be heat styled, excessive heat may loosen the natural curl or wave pattern over time.
Nighttime Care
Before bed, gently detangle the hair and place it into loose braids or twists. Cover the hair with a satin bonnet or sleep on a satin pillowcase.
Never go to sleep with wet hair or leave the extensions loose and unprotected overnight.
Coloring
We recommend having all coloring and chemical services completed by a licensed professional. Bleaching and coloring may alter the hair’s natural texture and reduce its longevity.
Always perform a strand test before applying color to the entire bundle.
Storage
After removing your extensions, wash and fully air-dry them before storing. Keep the hair detangled in a satin bag or its original packaging in a cool, dry place.
